We all have been waiting for this moment since the Summer Grand Prix ended. For the last week we were wondering if the Vogtland Arena Klingenthal is prepared to host the very first competitions of the season. Now we know, that everything should start today!
Yesterday the official trainings were cancelled due to difficult weather conditions – mild temperatures and rain caused moving the Friday’s training sessions on today. The chef of the organization comitee Alexander Ziron said, that “We try to do all what we can to prepare the hill for the weekend’s competitions”.
As we found out, temperatures today in Klingenthal are around 1 and 2 Celsius degrees, so the training rounds should start within minutes! According to the official schedule, official trainings begin at 13:30 CET, and the team competition should start at 16:15. The qualifications for Sunday’s individual competition will take place at 12:30 CET, so right before the main competition.
