Dawid Kubacki wins the first Continental Cup competition this season!

Today started the summer season. In Slovenian Kranj was held the very first this summer competition of the Competition Cup. The best among all of 62 ski jumpers was the representative of Poland Dawid Kubacki.
25-year-old Kubacki after the jump of 109,5 meters became the leader and held the leadership until the end, clearly winning with jump of 112,5 meters. Second finished Germany's Karl Geiger who performed well in front of the Slovenian audience with jumps of 107 and 104,5 meters. On third and fourth position placed the Prevc brothers - Peter with 104 and 110 meters and Cene with jumps on the distances of 105,5 and 107,5 meters. In the competition took part also 16-year-old Domen Prevc, who finished 21st with jumps of 102 and 100,5 meters.
Fifth place took second of the Polish representatives, Maciej Kot, who jumped 104 and 106,5 meters. From 16th to very good 6th position moved the representative of South Korea Seou Choi with 104 and 106,5 meters.In the Top 10 of the first competition in Kranj placed also Markus Schiffner from germany (twice 105 meters), representative of Poland Przemysław Kantyka (103 and 105,5 meters), Czech's Jakub Janda (102,5 and 103 meters) and Slovenia's Miran Zupancic (99 and 107 meters).

It's not the end of the sport emotions of this weekend. Tomorrow awaits us the next individual competition on the normal hill.
