AZS Zakopane is the Polish Team Champion!

The second competition of the Polish championships oficially ended the winter season for Kamil Stoch and his compatriots. After the individual competition, which was held yesterday, has come the time for the team competition. Once again unbeatable was the first representation of the ski club AZS Zakopane, which defended the champion title.

The AZS Zakopane I in the composition of Maciej and Jakub Kot, Andrzej Stękała and Andrzej Zapotoczny once again turned out to be the best in the team competition with the total score of 973,6 points.

The final victory of this team was possible thanks to good jumps of Maciej Kot, who jumped 130,5 and 125,5 meters, and Andrzej Stękała who reached 128,5 and 126,5 meters. The rest of the team also performed very well - Andrzej Zapotoczny in the first round reached 135 meters and it was the longest jump of the whole competition. In the second round he jumped on 107 meter and Jakub Kot finished the competition with results of 127,5 and 116,5 meters.

The second place won the team of the ski club WSS Wisła w Wiśle with Piotr Żyła, Aleksander Zniszczoł, Tomasz Byrt and Artur Kukuła on board, who achieved the total of 921,5 points. The first two of them gave two good equal jumps and individually were ranked very high - Żyła jumped on 129 and 121 meter, while Zniszczoł on 128,5 and 122 meter. Tomasz Byrt reached 119,5 and 123 meters and Artur Kukuła jumped on 120 and 104,5 meter.

The bronze medal won the team of the ski club TS Wisła Zakopane in the composition of Klemens Murańka, Dawid Kubacki, Andrzej Gąsienica, Dawid Jarząbek with the final result of 885,3 points, Very good jumps showed Klemens Muranka who reached 133 and 127 meters, and achieved the best results among all of the jumpers. The rest of the team also jumped well - Kubacki reached 116,5 and 121 meters, Gąsienica 122,5 and 111 meters, Jarząbek 118 and 102 meters.
