Taylor Henrich wins the qualifications in Falun!

19-year-old Canadian Taylor Henrich turned out to be the best during the qualification round in Falun, which preceded the individual competition on the normal hill. Representative of the Altius Nordic ski club with her jump of 92 meters set also the new hill record.

Taylor Henrich won clearly 5.7 points ahead of Julia Clair from France who jumped 88,5 meters and 6-point difference ahead the best among the Norwegians Maren Lundby who jumped on 89 meters.
Just behind the Top 3 was ranked Germany's Juliane Seyfarth, who turns 25 years old today. Very well performed also Chiara Hölzl (88m), Ulrike Gräßler (88,5m), Katharina Althaus (87m), Jessica Jerome (87,5m), Irina Avvakumova (87,5m) and Line Jahr (85m).
Among the pre-qualified athletes the best was 20-year-old Japanese Yuki Ito, who jumped on a distance of 89,5 meter. Exactly 2 meters closer jumped two Austrians Jacqueline Seifriedsberger and Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and on 87. meter landed Sarah Hendrickson, Carina Vogt and Sara Takanashi.
The weather conditions weren't equal, but made possible to execute the qualification round, after cancelling the trial round after jumps of 9 athletes due to strong wind. Tomorrow's competition is scheduled to 5 pm CET.
