Roman Koudelka won the second World Cup competition in Sapporo of this year. He's the second Czech who ever won at the Okurayama hill. The second place belongs to Polish ski jumper Kamil Stoch, third was Peter Prevc from Slovenia.
Roman's way to the victory wasn't easy at all - after the first round he was fourth. Nevertheless his performance in the second round was great enough to beat all the jumpers in front of him. He jumped 133 and 132 meters. The second one was Kamil Stoch, the leader of the round one (where he jumped 140 meters). His second round wasn't as good (only 125,5m). The third place belongs to Peter Prevc from Slovenia because of his jumps 135 and 125 meters long.
On the fourth place we can find the Austrian Stefan Kraft (133,5 and 128 meters) who has a stable shape, fifth is Anders Fannemel (135 and 121m) from Norway - this very competition could actually help Fannemel to get better. The fans under the Okurayama hill were looking forward to see their favorite boys in action - and the results of Daiki Ito (134,5 and 128m; sixth place) and Noriaki Kasai (124 and 128 meters; eight place) should satisfy them.
Between the two Japanese guys finished Phillip Sjoeen (131 and 128,5m) whose shape is rising. In the bottom of the TOP 10 can we find Jernej Damjan (126,5 and 125m) and finally Michael Hayböck (124 and 119m), who is searching himself again.
