So this tour is history. Again the wind was a big problem. Wisla was a big disaster, and made in only one round. with so big wind problems, that it almost looked like a joke. So they moved to Zakopane, which also started as a wind disaster. But here the wind calmed down and they could make 2 full competitions. That was nice! I think both comps in Zako went ok. with not to big wind problems. The team competition went well and ended with a podium, which is not to surprising. The German team looks strong now. The Austrian team is on a expected level. Norway and Slovenia had a fight for the third place, and the Slovenian team was the strongest and took third place. Sunday's competition was a nice race to watch. Here we could see Kamil Stoch wining in front of an amazing home crowd. What a way to show that he is now for sure back on a top level! And he showed that he a good guy, who made the suggestion that the prize money from the team competition should go to the fond that helps Nick Fairall wit his rehabilitation, which is so expensive for him. This was a big gesture from Kamil! Respect for that man! After the competiton the German team donated all the prize money to this fond. This is so nice to see that these guys are willing to take care of one another in this way! This makes me think that ski jumping is not only about athletes themselves. It shows that they are a big family. All in all this is what I will remember Zakopane for this time. DR.Johann
