Wisla : This morning qualification winner is Maciej Kot Consuelo Conte [@KokkaMufc]

After the glories of the Four Hills Tournament, and flights in Bad Mitterndorf, the World Cup competitions on the NH's are back, starting with Wisla, on the Adam Malysz ski jumping hill. Hill named after the legend ski jumper.
The conditions in Wisla, this morning were almost perfect. Sun, snow, and decent wind conditions, although with the continuation of the qualification round, the status of the wind conditions have changed, with the head wind and the output in the take off.
Today we could have had two hills records, but none of them have been convalidated, because of the falls followed by the two jumps. The Norwegian Anders Bardal had a great jump (140.0m / 126.2 pts),but has touched the snow, after that a crash has followed and it had appeared that the norwegian has suffered an injury on his left wrist (as soon as we will know more we will let you know), the second came from the two times Olympic champion Kamil Stoch, whom this morning has jumped 139.5m / 131.0 pts. Both could have been the new hills records, in a short frame of time from one to another,10/15 minutes, but both the Polish champion and the Norwegian ski jumper, have landed placing their hands on the ground.
Today made their comebacks in the the world cup, the NorwegianTom Hilde 24th (121.5m / 122 pts) after a bit of continental cup in order to find again is old form, and Polish ski jumper and this morning qualification winner Maciej Kot.The Polish ski jumper had taken home the qualification round with a good jump of 134.5m and a score of 142.5 pts.
In these qualifications we have also two azzurri, who have managed to qualify this morning for today's competition. The 20 year-old F. Cecon (120.5m / 113.1 pts) and the 27 year-old S.Colloredo (114.0m / 111.9pts), while Daniele Varesco has finished in 50th position (114.0 / 105.3 pts).

Here what Federico told to Skijumpingitaly : Once again a positive jump in the race here in Wisla! Step qualification and are in the race for the afternoon. I would say definitely the best jump of the season, I brought home a good measure that allowed me to qualify easily. Third qualifying this winter that i managed to went through, after the two times in Russia, it must be said that here in Wisla level is significantly higher than the qualifications held in Russia, since that here, there are practically, all the athletes. Now i think about the race this afternoon, where we (both I and Sebastian) a good chance of doing well. The only thing is, I have left a few meters in the take off, with the output from the tooth, the jump was very explosive but slightly late, so it did not allow me completely a good rotation. Hopefully in the race, i will do a jump of 110%
