Second COC in Wisla: Podium in Polish colours!

After a double victory in the first competition the Polish team was able to place three jumpers on the podium in the second competition. Changing winds made it really difficult again for the athletes and so the final result stood after just one round. Maciej Kot was able to win his first COC competition after seven years with jump on 125m and 126.1 points. Just 0.7 points ahead finished Klemens Muranka who could repeat his second place from the day before with 124m. On the third place finished Dawid Kubacki with 125.5m and 125 points. Andreas Wank who was on the podium at the first competition finished fourth today with a jump on 118m and 123.9 points. Right behind the German Olympic Champion came in Lukas Hlava who had a used day during the first competition but made it much better today with the farest jump of the competition on 127m. 0.1 behind the Czech finished Robert Johansson from Norway who showed 125.5m. Karl Geiger who took the fourth place in the first competition finished seventh today one rank ahead of yesterday’s winner Jan Ziobro. The Top 10 was completed by Kenneth Gangnes and Miran Zupancic. Italian jumper Federico Cecon showed a very good competition today with a jump on 121.5m and 117.2 points he came in 12th which is his best ever COC result. Second best Italian was Sebastian Colloredo on the 30th place. Tom Hilde from Norway who is second in the COC overall ranking just finished 20th today. Also the Austrians can´t be satisfied today as their best man Philipp Aschenwald finished 17th today. The COC continues next weekend in Sapporo/Japan where three competitions are scheduled.
