The Austrian finished in front, his compatriot (current leader of the tour), and also roommate Stefan Kraft, and the Norwegian Anders Jacobsen, (holder of the longest jump of the day with 139.5m and winner in Garmisch).

The day, however, was marred by two crashes a bad one for the American, Nick Fairall,we are still awaiting concrete news on the conditions of the athlete, but according to the multiple news which are coming, it appears that the american ski jumper underwent a spine surgery because he didn’t felt his legs.

And then the other suffered from Japanese Daiki Ito, who, however, left the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze, of Bischofshofen standing.

Still It was a qualification that has slipped away very quickly, except for the fact of the two falls, for Ito and Fairall.

For tomorrow's race, there are some real clashes of the titans, the first, although he will be the last of the first round, is among the current leader of the world cup Michael Hayboeck and four-time Olympic champion Simon Ammann .
