Despite the strong, changing and sometimes unfair wind we could observe long jumps of the world's top jumpers. The best among them turned out to be Severin Freund who jumped 131,5 meters in mild wind. On the second step of the podium stood today the yesterday's winner and the World Cup leader Anders Fannemel, who jumped on 135 meter, but with conducive wind and eventually lost to the winner 2,4 points. On the third place was ranked today Stefan Kraft from Austria, who jumped 138 meters and set the new hill record.
Just behind the podium the competition finished Gregor Schlierenzauer, who with a result of 135 meters lost only 0,2 points to his teammate. Good jumps gave today also Michael Hayboeck (131m), Matjaz Pungertar (130,5m), Rune Velta (132,5m), Daniel Andre Tande (130m), Peter Prevc (125m) and Marinus Kraus (123m).
Unfortunately with a strong blast of wind in the first round couldn't manage representative of Poland Dawid Kubacki, who was saving himself from the fall. The situation repeated itself in the second round, when Andreas Kofler also had huge problems during his jump. Happily everything ended good for both jumpers, but jury after jump of the representative of Austria decided to cancel the final round.
