Today's World Cup competition in Lillehammer was held in heavy fog and changing weather conditions. The first round of the individual competition lasted for nearly two hours and jury eventually decided to cancel the final round. Under these circumstances the victory and the World Cup leader's position took again Roman Koudelka. Czech with a distance of 140 meters overtook Slovene Peter Prevc, who landed on 139 meter and Michael Hayböck, who scored 141,5 meters.
Just behind the podium competition finished Severin Freund (136 m), Simon Ammann (142 m) and the best among the Norwegians Anders Fannemel (131 m), who finished ahead of his teammate Anders Bardal (137,5m). The longest jump of the day gave Markus Eisenbichler, who landed on 143 meter and took the 8th position. The top 10 closed Marinus Kraus (141m) and Lauri Asikainen (137,5m).
The winner of Saturday's competition, Gregor Schlierenzauer, finished today on 13th place with a distance of 132,5 meters.
Unfortunately from this weekend in Lillehammer the most remembered won't be the beautiful jumps of the world's top jumpers, but heavy weather conditions, which caused sometimes unfair rivalry.
