Unbeatable Prevc gets first SGP win

He dominated the first COC competition in Kranj and now he repeats himself in the Summer Grand Prix season opener. Peter Prevc wins in Wisla and there are no words needed to describe his performance: he has just been dominant.
The Slovenian edges the hometown hero Piotr Zyla by 16.7 points, while Andreas Wellinger closes the podium despite a fall in the last round.
It is not easy to find a summer race with such a competitive entry list. A lot of top athletes have entered the competition and there were not many absences among the big names, apart from Anders Bardal and Noriaki Kasai.
Great start for the Norwegians, all in the top-10: just out of the podium we find Andreas Stjernen, Anders Fannemel and Rune Velta, with Tom Hilde in nineth position. Michel Hayböck and Gregor Schlierenzauer kick it off with a seventh and eighth place finish; Severin Freund manages to close in tenth position.
An astonishing performance in the last jump brings Junshiro Kobayashi to eleventh place. The young Japanese holds off Andreas Wank, Simon Ammann and Jan Ziobro, the second Polish. Richard Freitag and an interesting Antonin Hajek separate him from his teammates Dawid Kubacki (17th) and Stefan Hula (18th). Kamil Stoch couldn't reach the last run, having lost too much in Thursday's qualifying session, while Maciej Kot showed a poor first jump, with the same result.
