Double victory for team Slovenia!
01/03/2014 17:56
On the first of two competitions on next years World Championship normal hill in Falun (SWE) the Slovenian ski jumpers could celebrate a double victory.
Two jumps on 93m meant the victory for Rok Justin just 0.4 points ahead of Cene Prevc who showed jumps on 94m and 93m. German jumper Daniel Wenig completed the podium on the 3rd place with two points behind Prevc.
Again it was a very good competition from all the Slovenians which could place four of their jumpers in the top 6. Behind Pius Paschke on the fourth place Miran Zupancic found himself on the 5th Rank, followed by Andraz Pograjc.
One of the best Norwegian jumpers from the past years Tom Hilde showed that his shape is getting better. With jumps on 93m and 90.5m he was just 0.4 points behind the six place on rank 7.
Florian Altenburger on the 8th place was the best Austrian of the day. With a not so good jump in the second round he lost his great 3rd place from the first round.
The young Norwegian Ole Mathis Nedrejord on the 16th place managed to make his first ever Top 20 COC result in his third COC competition. And also Patrick Streitler from Austria on the 11th place made his best COC result.
The French guys also made a little step in the right direction with their former Worldcup jumpers Vincent Descombes-Sevoie on Rank 22 and Alexandre Mabboux on Rank 29.
As in the World Cup which was held in Falun just some days ago no Swedish jumper could make it into the Top 40. Best of the three local competitors was Carl Nordin on place 41.
