Stoch’s results were incredible – on the normal hill, every point counts – but when you have almost 13 points advantage, you are invincible! The silver medal goes to Slovenia - Peter Prevc deserves it, his performance was superb. And Norwegian Anders Bardal left two Austrians behind him

The second place (and of course the silver medal) belongs to Peter Prevc – he jumped 102,5 and 99 meters and I think both of the jumps were dedicated to his injured teammate Robert Kranjec, who couldn’t take part today. The bronze goes to Norway – Anders Bardal (101,5 and 98,5 meters) worked hard this year, so his third place must be kind of a satisfaction for him and his coach Alex Stöckl.

The surprise of the year, Thomas Diethart, jumped 99 and 98m and was ranked four, Michael Hayböck (who showed amazing jumps on this hill before) jumped 101 and 98,5 meters. Alex Pointner has to see, that the new generation is ready to get on the top. 14. place after the first round, but sixth place in the final round – that’s the result of young German Andreas Wellinger (96 and 101,5m)! Maciej Kot (101,5 and 98,5m) was seventh and celebrated with his teammate Kamil. The Olympics number seven? No problem for Noriaki Kasai! He was ranked eight for jumps 101,5 and 100 meters. Ninth was Jernej Damjan (99,5 and 101m) from Slovenia and tenth Andreas Wank (101m and 97m) from Germany. We all can agree that we have another winner – Thomas Morgenstern fell terribly two times this year, but he is strong and he was fourteenth today! Good job, Morgi! Another good performances were made by Annsi Koivuranta (12. place), Roman Koudelka (16. place), Reruhi Shimizu (18. place) or Mikhail Maksimochkin (30. place). Congratulations to all athletes and good luck on the large hill! Sochi NH official results Consuelo Conte [@KokkaMufc] You can follow us on our Facebook page as well as on Twitter!
