Young Japanese Sara Takanashi again proved to be the best in the Ladies' World Cup competition played in Austrian Hinzenbach (HS 94). She definitely dominated the whole weekend and has almost double advantage over her rivals in the overall standings. Today the second place took representative of the hosts Daniela Iraschko-Stolz and for the very first time in her career on the World Cup podium stood Julia Kykkänen from Finland.

17-year-old Takanashi took today's victory thanks to two good jumps on 88,5 and 92,5 meters. The leader after the first round was Iraschko-Stolz, who jumped on a distance of 89 meters, but in the final round she also landed on 89. meter and lost to Takanashi over six points. As it was mentioned earlier an amazing performance gave today representative of Finland Julia Kykkaenen, who jumped on a distances of 86,5 and 88,5 meters. Just behind the podium placed today Maja Vtic, who jumped 92 and 86 meters. On the fifth position placed representative of Germany Carina Vogt, with jumps on 88,5 and 85 meters. In the Top 10 of the competition were also: Yuki Ito (85 and 85,5m), Eva Logar (84,5 and 85,5m), Irina Avvakumova (85,5 and 86m), Anna Haefele (86,5 and 83m) and Spela Rogelj (83,5 and 83m).

For almost 25-year-old representative of Germany Anna Haefele this is her first World Cup Top 10 result in her career, although in the past she was eighth at the World Championships in Liberec and won the vice World Junior Champion title in 2009.

The next Ladies' World Cup competitions will be held in Romanian Rasnov on 1st and 2nd March. Now the rivalry moves to Sochi, where for the first time in history female ski jumpers will be fighting for the Olympic gold.
