Amazing style, long distance, great success – Kamil Stoch becomes a double-winner of Willingen “Mühlenkopfschanze” hill. To be ahead of Severin Freund for almost 14 points is a great achievement for Poland – especially when we’re talking about the last competition before the Olympics!

Yesterday we saw very long jumps, today it wasn’t as long race as yesterday, but the atmosphere under the hill was just amazing! Kamil Stoch jumped 147 and 145 meters and became a double-champion of Willingen. "I'm very happy. These were exactly the jumps I was hoping for. It was a fantastic weekend for me. I dedicate this win to my wife because it's her birthday tomorrow.” Polish fans suppose he’s going to fight hard for the gold medal at the Olympics. “I'm looking forward to good conditions and a great atmosphere in Sochi. I will do my best, but I can't make any promises to the fans."

The second place belongs to Severin Freund, just like yesterday. He jumped 141,5 and 134 meters and the second position was a big satisfaction for him, his team and German fans. “If somebody would have told me before this weekend that I will be on the podium twice I would have been happy. I like this hill here in Willingen a lot. The fact that I was on the podium twice shows that my jumps are consistent.”

If you have watched the second round, you probably noticed that the second jump of Peter Prevc wasn’t ideal – it was “only” 132 meters and the marks weren’t just like they are usually. The first one was much better – 145,5m and Peter admitted that: “"My first jump was perfect, in the second round I jumped with too much power and not enough feeling, what is actually my strength. I'm not really sad that I lost the yellow bib before Sochi. Now I also don't have the pressure of the overall leader anymore, this is a good position for me.”

The fourth place belongs to Noriaki Kasai (141 and 135,5 meters), the fifth one was Robert Kranjec (134 and 146,5m) and number six was Daiki Ito (138,5 and 135,5m).

The winner of Willingen weekend wasn’t just Kamil Stoch, it was the national team of Slovenia, because in TOP 15, there are 6 Slovenian jumpers, so the team competition in Sochi will be a big goal for head coach Goran Janus.
