Young, 17-year-old Japanese and also the Ladies' World Cup leader Sara Takanashi proved to be the best at the Junior World Championship competition and once again defended the champion title, which she gained two years ago. Takanashi twice jumped on the distance of 100,5 meters and took first place in the competition with a 14,2-point lead over second Coline Mattel from France, who landed in both rounds on 97 meter. On the lowest step of the podium stood today the Norwegian Maren Lundby, for which this is one of the greatest successes in her career - she jumped on the distances of 96,5 and 97 meters. Just behind the leading trio placed Japanese Yuki Ito (96,5 and 94m) and the best of Germans Katharina Althaus (96,5 and 92m). The top ten also included Ursa Bogataj (94,5 and 93,5 m), Julia Clair (89,5 and 92,5 m), Spela Rogelj (89,5 and 91m), Gianina Ernst (87 and 87,5 m) and Susanna Forsstroem (89 and 88,5 m).
