Victory for Sara Takanashi in Zao!

In the competition played in the night of CET time in the Japanese Zao (HS 100) proved to be the best representatives of the hosts - Sara Takanashi and Yuki Ito, which took two first places. Due to bad weather conditions, especially a changing, strong wind, the final round of the competition was canceled after jumps of eight athletes and many breaks.

For 17-year-old Takanashi this is her 7th victory in this season. With a jump of 104 meters she won with 1,4 point advantage ahead of her compatriot, although she got very low marks from judges, because her hands touched the snow while landing. Takanashi is undefeated in this season and confidently she is going to take the final victory in the World Cup. Second was Yuki Ito, who flew on a distance of 96,5 meter and performed well in front of local audience. On the lowest step of the podium stood today representative of Germany Carina Vogt, who thanks to jump on 93 meters moved to the second position in the general classification of the Ladies' World Cup, overtaking absent in Zao Russian Irina Avvakumova.

Just behind the Top 3 was classified the best among Norwegians Maren Lundby with a jump on 90 meters. On the fifth position was ranked Ramona Straub with 92,5 meter result. In the lead ten were also Bigna Windmüller (87m), Evelyn Insam (93,5m), Ulrike Gräßler (85,5m), Kaori Iwabuchi (86m) and Julia Kykkänen (84,5m).

In the first round of the competition crashed representative of Finland Susanna Forsström, but it turned out to be not dangerous and fortunately she didn't suffer a serious injury.
