Sara Takanashi is unbeatable in Sapporo

The 17 year old Japanese could win her sixth Worldcup in this Olympic season and showed again how strong she is. With jumps on 97m and 91m and 237.1 she won superior ahead of French girl Coline Mattel (219.8) and Irina Avvakumova from Russia who really booked the 3rd place at the moment. Carina Vogt from Germany who reached the Podium in the last four competitions had a crash in the first round but with a strong second jump she could save the 13th place. Canadian girl Atsuko Tanaka reached her best Worldcup result ever as she could reach the 4th rank with jumps on 85m and 91.5m. She missed the podium just for 0.1 points. Team America showed that they get in better shape no as they are still missing their best Sarah Hendrickson, with two girls in the Top 10. Lindsey Van on Rank 5 just missed the Top 3 with 1 point and Jessica Jerome jumped on the7th place. Best Slovenian girl was again Maja Vtic with a good 6th place but the Slovenians still missing their best performances as Spela Rogelj on Rank 18 was the second best. Also for the Austrians not everything is good at the moment. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz on Rank 15 and Chiara Hoelzl on place 24 are jumping below expectations at the moment. Evelyn Insam on Rank 22, Manuela Malsiner on 25 and Elena Runggaldier on 30 held up the Italian flags in Japan.
