Sara Takanashi made it again and won her 5th competition of the season. With jumps on 99m and 94.5m she could leave the second Carina Vogt from Germany 15 points behind. The third place went to Russian Irina Avvakumova with jumps on 90.5m and 89.5m. With winning 5 out of 6 worldcup competition in this season Sara Takanshi underlines that the other girls have to beat her first if they want to win gold in their first olympic games. Also Carina Vogt improved herself in this season very much as she claimed her fourth podium and third second place in a row. The biggest hope of the russians Irina Avvakumova also showed again how constantly good she is at the moment as she jumped on the third place. The fourth went to another local hero as Yuki Ito could climb up the rankings in the second round from place 17. A good team performance was shown by the german girls with all of them in the top 30 and with Katharina Althaus on 8 and Ramona Straub on 13 two more girls in the Top 15. Daniela Iraschko-Stolz is still searching for her best shape as she just reached Rank 9 today. As the mens team also the Finnish girl made a step in the right direction. Julia Kykkänen made her second Top 10 result in a row with jumps on 92.5m and 86m she could reach the 7th place. The second Finnish girl Susanna Forsström on place 18 made her first Worldcup points. The Slovenian Girls had with Maja Vtic on place 5 just one girl in the Top 10 but the rest found themselves just down from place 20. Comebacker Anja Tepes who made her firstWorldcup competition after her injury in Oslo could not reach the second round. Best of the Italian Girls was Elena Runggaldier on the 18. place. 1.
