Young Japanese torpedo Sara Takanashi in this season again proved that she is in great shape and she is going for the gold of the Olympic Games. Her today's victory is 4th one in a row and thanks to this she increased her points advantage over rivals in the World Cup standings. Takanashi gave today two good jumps on 99.0 and 96.5 meters and she won only 0.9 points ahead of representative of Germany Carina Vogt, who jumped today 100.5 and 98.5 meters. Takanashi wasn't satisfied with her own performance: "My jumps were not as good as I can do it really, but I'm happy with the result. I try to be better tomorrow." - she said. The third place was taken by representative of the hosts Irina Avvakumova with jumps of 103.0 and 93.0 meters. Fourth place took French Coline Mattel with 93.5 and 95.0 meters, fifth came young Ema Klinec from Slovenia with jumps of 93.0 and 96.0 meters and sixth was Gyda Enger from Norway, who thanks to jumps on 93.5 and 91.5 meters took the best result in her career. On seventh position the competition finished experienced representative of Austria Daniela Iraschko-Stolz (92,5 and 91,5m), 8th was Norway's Maren Lundby (94 and 92m), 9th was Ramona Straub (93 and 91m)and 10th Katharina Althaus (88,5 and 94,5m). Unfortunately during the training round before the competition crashed representative of Germany Svenja Würth, who was taken to the hospital in Tchaikovsky. She suffered a vertebral injury and now she is going back home where further medical examinations will be made. “Svenja is doing well under the circumstances, she shows no signs of paralysis.
