When you jump well, it’s a cool thing. When you jump well twice, it’s a success. When you jump well four times a day, you win the Continental-Cup competition and the second and the third position belongs to your teammates, it’s awesome! This situation happened today to Manuel Fettner and his Austrian teammates.
Manuel Fettner has to make Alexander Pointner thinking because of his today’s performance. In the competition, he jumped 132,5m and 122,5 meters and became a champion. Is Alex Pointner, the head coach of the Austrian ski jumping team (ÖSV), going to nominate him to the Four-Hills tournament to the A-team?
Fettner wasn’t the only Austrian on top. The second place belongs to Manuel Poppinger (131m and 126,5m) and Simon Greiderer (125,5m and 134,5m). All we have to say to Austria is: Good job. Slovenian team has three competitors in TOP 10, too. Fourth place is occupied by Nejc Dezman (124m and 130,5m), Anze Lanisek (126 and 129 meters) was seventh and Robert Hrgota (122m and 134m) was ninth.
The only German in TOP 10 was Pius Paschke – he made jumps of 128,5 and 123,5 meters and was fifth. Thumbs up goes also for Czech Borek Sedlak (131m and 126m; sixth place) and seventh Jakub Wolny from Poland (125,5m and 130m).
