Norwegian domination in Notodden

Norwegian female ski jumpers again proved to be the best in the second individual competition in Notodden (HS 100). This time three representatives of the hosts - Anette Sagen, Gyda Enger and Anna Odine Strøm occupied all the places on the podium.
In Saturday's competition ski jumping fans gathered at the hill in Notodden had witnessed the 45th Continental Cup victory of Anette Sagen, who jumped 95 and 96 meters today. The second place went to Gyda Enger, who lost 9,5 points to the winner (91 and 94 meters). Furthermore the best result ever reached young Norwegian sensation Anna Odine Strøm, who took 3rd place today by jumping on the distances of 89 and 91 meters.
Just behind the podium placed the best of the Americans Alissa Johnson, who was 3rd after first round with two jumps on 89,5 meters. Also third after 1st round was young German Anna Rupprecht, who eventually finished 5th (90,5 and 87,5m). 6th position took other German ski jumper Ramona Straub (86 and 87,5m), 7th was Jenny Synnøve Hagemoen (86,5 and 86,5m), 8th place took the representative of Russia Sofya Tikhonova (88,5 and 86,5m) and the Top 10 closed Abby Hughes (85,5 and 86,5m) and Juliane Seyfarth (83 and 85m).
Next competitions of the Ladies Continental Cup will be held on 15th and 16th February 2014 on the HS 97 hill in Lahti.
