FIS-Cup victories for Hans Petter Bergquist and Ole Mathis Nedrejord!

Yesterday and today in Norwegian Notodden were held inaugural competitions of the winter season of the FIS Cup cycle. Both competitions were dominated by the representatives of the hosts.
In Friday's competiton after the first round the leader was Hans Petter Bergquist.19-year-old gained in his jump 95.5 meters. Just behind him was classified Ole Mathis Nedrejord, who jumped on a distance of 92.5 meters. The Top 3 closed Alexander Henningsen after the jump on 93 meters.The next two places were occupied by representatives of the United States – Christian Friberg and Michael Glasder, who both landed on 92 meter. Jonas Gropen Søgård took the sixth position with a jump of 92.5 meters.
Hans Petter Bergquist was able to maintain a leadership position and won the competition. In the second round Norwegian ski jumper jumped on 93 meters and increased his lead to five points. Also Ole Mathis Nedrejord defended his second position in the second round by jumping on a distance of 92.5 meters. In third place stood the representative of Finland - Lasse Moilanen, who after the first round held 8th position. For such a big promotion allowed him jump on 92.5 meter and bad jumps of the opponents. Just behind the podium ended Michael Glasder. The representative of the United States in the second round landed at 90.5 meters.
In today's competition the best was 17-year-old Ole Mathis Nedrejord who thankfully to his jumps on 98 and 99 meters won with 6,5 pts advantage for Hans Petter Bergquist (98 and 98m). The third place went to the representative of the United States Michael Glasder, who in his jumping has reached 97 and 96m. Just behind the leading trio have ranked Jonas Grope Søgård (98 and 96.5 m) and Knut Jokerud Strand (95.5 and 96.5 m).
There were 19th and 20th FIS Cup competition in this year's cycle. In general classification the leader is still Marco Grigoli with 350 points.
