Pekka Niemelä will remain head coach in Finland

Well well, how to start this? During the past season has been pretty clear that the Finland team had their bad moments, in fact the finnish team never been so law as the past season ever! Toward the end of the season, speculations suggested that the – at the time- current head coach Pekka Niemelä , would have been changed, many names have been mentioned, like the former Norwegian head coach Mika Kojonkoski, or also former Japan headh coach Kari Ylianttila, just to mention a few… but the Finnish Ski Federation always post poned the decision, probably because of money, or internal issues. Is today news that there won’t be any change for the finnish team, in fact Pekka Niemelä will remain, the head coach for the finns. The thing is, not many will be happy with this decision, something have to change inside the federation as much as in the team. Is true that the finns have been particularly unlucky last season because of the many injuries happened to their top ski jumpers, but the not so great performances cannot be reduced just to that. From Finland to Norway: From one team to another, today Norway had today their camp and press conference, ahead of the summer season, here’s team who were at the press conference today. Rune Velta, Tom Hilde, Andreas Stjernen, Anders Jacobsen, Anders Fannemel, Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell and Anders Bardal! The countdown to a new summer season is began. [@KokkaMufc]
