Double joy for Marinus Kraus last weekend in Liberec

Marinus Kraus won the Saturday's competition on the normal hill ahead of Kim Rene Elverum Sorsell of Norway and Matic Kramarsic from Slovenia. After the longest jump of the day at 103.0m in the first round and with 94.5m in the final and a total of 265.5 points he could celebrate his first winter win in this season. Right behind the podium were two Poles - Łukasz Rutkowski and Krzysztof Biegun. 6th were ex aequo Rok Justin and Atle Pedersen Roensen, 8th and 9th were two Austrian Andreas Strolz and Manuel Poppinger. At the end of top ten was Fredrik Bjerkeengen.
In the Sunday's competition also the best was Marinus Kraus. Due to the strong wind competitions ended after one round. Young German again took the longest jump of the day - 103.0m and earned 142.5 points. It was enough to beat jumpers from the second step of the podium Matic Kramarsic (101.0m) and Fredrik Bjerkeengen (102.5). They both earned 138.0 points. 4rd was Pius Paschke, 5th Manuel Poppinger, 6th Karl Geiger, 7th Ziga Mandl, 8th Jan Ziobro. At the 9th place ended three jumpers Aleksander Zniszczoł, Andreas Strolz and Anze Semenic. Still the best in overall ranking of COC is Matic Benedik from Slovenia with 651 points. 2nd is Atle Pedersen Roensen with 647 points and 3rd Anze Semenic with 599 points.
