Today’s quali before first individual ladies’ competition in Val Di Fiemme were changed over to training because of not enough competitors on the start list (45 ladies). Therefore, there were two training rounds before tomorrow’s competition. Ladies gave their jumps on HS-106.
Unfortunately, weather conditions were not good for competitors. Strong wind made some troubles, but Sara Takanashi turned out to be the best ski jumper in first training. She showed us a great jump at 101m. American girl, Sarah Hendrickson was placed second (99 m) and Anette Sagen, with her 97 meters, took the lowest step of the podium.
Next placings belonged to: 4. Elena Runggaldier (97.5 m), 5. Yuki Ito (96.5 m) and 6. Evelyn Insam (94.5 m).
The second training definitely belonged to Sarah Hendrickson, who has shown the longest jump at 102 m! Round behind her, on second place, we could see Jacqueline Seifriedsberger who jumped 99.5 m. Anette Sagen was placed third again, with her jump at 96.5 m. Here are ladies who have managed to have place in first 10 : 4. Coline Mattel (96.5 m), 5. Sara Takanashi (92.5 m), 6. Lindsey Van (95 m), 7. Atsuko Tanaka (93 m), 8. Alissa Johnson (93 m), 9. Jessica Jerome (92 m), 10. Elena Runggaldier (92 m).
Few ladies did not enter the trainings today, inter alia: Vogt, Althaus, Graessler, Wuerth, Hoelzl.
