Ski jumping might be many things but is not a boring sport, especially when it comes to the 4HT. Today once again has been a very exciting competition at the Bergisel hills which has seen the tournament table making a change at the top. The weather conditions weren’t the best for our heroes , foggy and windy, but there was an amazing atmosphere thanks especially to the crowd that cheered for their favorites (mostly for the Austrian team) throughout the whole competition. - Speaking of crowd been over supportive. Something uncommon has happened when Anders Jacobsen had to jump. The Norwegian has been booed by the crowd, probably a bit scared by the fact he was/still on the run for the tournament title: Having said that, I’d expect this more from any football ground rather than on ski jumping event like this, a bit unusual in ski jumping-. Gregor Schlierenzauer don’t wanna stop his chase on Matti Nykänen. Today Gregor Schlierenzauer has once again wrote another piece of history with the 44th win in Innsbruck during the 4HT race. The 22 year old has not intention to stop his chase to Matti Nykänen ( one of the most successful ski jumper in the history of this sport). In front of 22.000 people local boy Gregor has made sure that people know he is the one to beat this season. Gregor was the only one to provide a jump over the 130’s, with a first jump of 131.5. His rival Ander Jacobsen has jumped “only” 127.5 during the first session of jumps, missing out the second with a poor 117.5 that see him finishing at the 7th place of the table, increasing in this way Gregor’s leadership of 10 pts.

Kamil Stoch Man of the Day: The polish starlet is finding his top form with baby steps, has jumped on the second place of the podium today, make the polish fans very happy.Kamil has produce two good jumps that made it possible for him to finish 2nd today with a total score of 240.9But Kamil wasn’t the only polish ski jumper who shown to be in a good shape during this tourneè.Maciej Kot has finished at the 9th place today, giving to Poland the chance to place two of their men into the top 10.

One Anders in one Anders out: Has already mentioned above, that wasn’t a good day for Anders Jacobsen that has seen Gregor Schlierenzauer stripping him off the leadership of the tourneè.Jacobsen has totally missed the out the second jump during the final round, jumping only 117.5 ending in this way at the 7th place of the table and leaving the Austrian ski jumper with a 10 pts lead.Despite the 7th place this could be described as one of the best season for the 27 year old from Hønefoss. His come back couldn’t be more brighter than this one. I doubt many believed would have been possible for him after more than a year off coming back and finding him in a such good place.Last year WC winner Anders Bardal made the podium for the second time in a row at this 4HT.Third place for the Norwegian.Norway was also the only nation to have placed three of their ski jumpers in the Top 10 (Bardal 3rd , Hilde 6th , Jacobsen 7th ).

Peter Prevc’s star keep shining:

Peter Prevc has decided he doesn’t wanna stop to impress, in fact the Slovenian has ended the day in Innsbruck with a 5th place, the best amongst his team mates (Kranjec 14th today). Personally I believe Prevc is one of the guy to keep an eye on for the next WSC. FIS 4HT full result list [@KokkaMufc]
