Here we go for another interview, this time with Federico Cecon section of the youth team. Federico last name for those who has always followed ski jumping, for you might sound familiar. In fact, the young Italian is the son of Italian Roberto Cecon former ski jumper and current coach of the Italian team.

Skijumpingitaly: Hello Federico, thanks for being with us, have you started yet with the training? Federico Cecon: Yes we started to train again about two months ago. SJI: Tell us more about on what you're working more on at the moment.

FC: The summer job this year will be based on exercises in which I have been very weak in the past, so I have to improve on them, then obviously there will be dry weights and other exercises.

SJI: What goals do you have for next season?

FC: Next season will be very important to me! I am very motivated because the past winter despite not been a great season, during the training sessions I shown up some good jumps, so I want improve my consistency and be more constant between a jump and the other. I'll be definitely doing the Alpen Cup, FIS Cup, the Juniors World Championships, which are very important and some Continental Cup as well.

SJI: Tell us how did your passion for ski jumping began.

FC: My passion for ski jumping started when I was about 5, when I watched my dad competing, I watched it on TV and from there began all my long career.

SJI: Having the dad who has competed in the past has helped your desire to do this sport?

FC: Let's say that is not changing that much, but you feel that you have to do well because in any case because of the “weight” of this surname.

SJI: What do you like to do when you're not jumping?

FC: When I would not jump I’d have plenty to do, but most of times I cannot do them all. I like to relax at home and spend some on my Pc, I love playing football and being with friends. - [Editor's note as far as we know Federico is a Juventus fan, for the ones who wanted to know] -

SJI: Describe yourself in three words and describe the ski jump in three words.

FC: Train, fly and dream! Jump!
