Klemens Muranka suffers vision problems SkiJumpingItaly is always trying to improve its reporting and therefore we are grateful when ski-jumping-lovers tell us about the news they found out about. Thanks Aneta for telling us about Klemens Muranka.
The 17-year old Polish jumper had to undergo an eye-surgery, as skijumping.pl reported.
After a heavy fall in training in Austria, he admitted towards his father, that he has vision problems and wasn’t even able to see his trainer Robert Mateja on the coaches’ platform properly.
His father Krystzof Muranka stated in an official statement he has feared a back-injury first, after Klemens fell on his back.
The examination in the hospital in Krakow adduced damages of the cornea. He then had to undergo a surgery and still has two other surgeries following in the next weeks.
According to his father, Klemens Muranka will be able to jump again in a few weeks.
