Anssi Koivuranta wins both competitions of the Finnish nationals!

The Finnish Nationals were held this weekend – from the normal hill in Rovaviemi yesterday and from the large hill in Kuusamo today.
Annsi Koivuranta managed to win both competitions. Yesterday he showed jumps of 95.5m and 95m and won with a lead of only 1.5 points ahead of Matti Hautamäki (95m and 93,5m).
Janne Happonen went from place 7 in first round to the third place with 93m and 95m and 265.7 points. Ville Larinto became 4th ahead of Olli Muotka. On the other places have been Lauri Asikainen, Kalle Keituri, Sebastian Klinga, Sami Niemi and Mika Ylipulli.
Today we saw the individual competition from the HS 142 in Kuusamo. Again, Anssi has been best with 140m and 142m (309.6points). Olli Muotka has been second with 300 points and 134.5m as well as the best jump of the day: 143m.
Janne Happonen got on the third place again with 287.4 points. On the other places of the top ten have been in this order: Kalle Keituri, Ossi-Pekka Valta, Matti Hautamäki, Lauri Asikainen, Sami Heiskanen, Sami Saapunki and Jarkko Määttä.
