Today's winner in Lahti was Daiki Ito.

The Japanese at his third win of the season -the first one in Europe after the

two in a row in Sapporo- managed to jump on the podium and grabbing the victory,

despite the poor wind conditions which didn't helped most of the athletes out

there today leaving also top names out of the final round (Stoch for example).

-Bardal has increased his leadership on the table.

Anders Bardal second place today, has proved once again he is in a stable and strong shape

condition, although the pressure he might feeling at the moment wearing the

yellow bib, but as he said during the press conference he likes to wear it.

After finishing at 9th place during the first round, he fought back to reach the

podium in the final round.

- Hlava is the surprise of the day along with Anssi Koivuranta.

The czech ski jumper third today, was - at least for me- the real surprise with

Koivuranta. In fact for both of them that was their best result of the season.

Koivuranta have missed the podium only for 2.9 points.

"Disappointing" results for Gregor and co.

After winning yesterday team competition, the austrian ski jumpers -especially the ones

who are actually fighting for the WC title- have struggled a little bit today.

Gregor is now 84 points behind Bardal after his 6th place today(he was 10th

after the first round).

Is going to be a tough end of the season and a tight race til the last jump. Next stop on March the 8th in Trondheim.
