A long season is about to end...who's gonna be the winner?

The WC season is about to end, and no one can deny has been a quite intensive one.

We’re only few races away before to know who will be crowned as the new overall WC

winner for the 2011/12 winter season, will it be Anders Bardal - at his most important season ever- or Gregor Schlierenzauer winner of this year 4HT?

Last time we saw a Norwegian ski jumper to give battle for the WC title has been Anders

Jacobsen back in the 2006/07 season which saw Adam Malysz winning the trophy.

Norway seems to be reborned under the new head coach Alexander Stöckl.

The austrian coach has had without a shadow of doubt improved an already strong team that maybe wasn't aware enough of their qualities.

He brought up in the world cup some young and very talented jumpers, like Anders

Fennemel or Atle Pederesen Rønsen..without forget Rune Velta and Andreas Stjernen.

On the other hand it must be said that Austria this year it wasn't the same

strong opponent like in the past -despite the gold medal at the team event in

the recent SFWC in Vikersund, and today’s winner on the NH in lahti- Thomas Morgenstern never really been at his ideal shape and so also Schlierenzauer has had some ups and downs.

Andreas Kofler has found himself to wear the yellow bib for a bit too much that the pressure to end the season as the possible world cup winner has probably destroyed his chances. The question now is : Who do you think will end up in Planica lifting the trophy to the sky? From my poor point of view I can smell a tight race until the very end, we will only found out who’s between Bardal and Schlierenzauer will be named as the new 2011/12 champion in Slovenia during the last weekend of competitios for this season, but whoever it will be, it will be a deserved title.
