Only last year we were talking about his retirement...it was too soon to retire at only 25, but at the end of last season Anders Jacobsen has announced he decided to quit with ski jumping for good.
A year on from that announcement,he overturned the decision taken last year and he decided it was time to come back.
The news itself is not new but what is new is that Jacobsen has started to train again with the national team under the new head coach as has been reported today from NRK.
-Looking forward to it.
Jacobsen says he knows what it takes now, adding also it will be tough but he want to succeed.
Stöckl has faith in him, he followed closely Jacobsen training.
“I think he can keep up the motivation this time and I do not see any reason why
he will not be able to get back on top”. has said Stöckl.
The ambition to be the best is back.
“I want to be the best in the world and to do so I must win the WC”.
Jacobsen have also said he wasn’t always happy with the former head coach, Mika Kojonkoski.
The break up with Kojonkoski was about Jacobsen giving the priority to the family.
From today a new chapter of Jacobsen career has started and the Norwegian fans can be glad to have him back in the team along with some new talented young stars.
