Anders Bardal new WC leader after winning the competition in Willingen

Looking at today's competition it seems that Norway has dominated the ski jumping weekend.

After today's race Anders Bardal found himself as the new WC leader, the Norwegian who shown throughout the season to be in a great form has surpassed the two Austrians on the overall WC table confirming he is now the man to beat.

That was for sure a great weekend for Stoeckl and his boys, a victory in the team event yesterday and now Bardal winning his third competitions of the season, and from today he is the new leader.

Last time a Norwegian has worn the yellow bib (the leader one) was few years back with Anders Jacobsen in 2006/2007 season.

At the second place an outstanding Roman Koudelka, who managed to get on the podium with two good jumps -147.5 / 146.5- while at third place we find another on top form jumper, Daiki Ito -149.5 / 144.0-

During the trial round it was quite sure that would have been an interesting race with long jumps that one who taken place today in Willingen.

Some surprising results came from the austrian team especially from the former WC leader Andreas Kofler who didn't qualify for the final round bit didn't get better to Gregor Schlierenzauer either.

Compared to his team mate Gregor has been a little bit more lucky, but still didn't make to get into the top 5 after the first round of jumps, failing in this way to take away the bib from his team mate after he finished at 18th place at the end of the final round today.

Not the best weekend ever for Alex Pointner's guys,though the best for the Austrians today was Martin Koch with an 8th place.

It was an intense competitions one of the best of the season so far, and thank god the wind didn't ruined it
